I just love, love, loveee this photo of Gisele on the first cover of Porter Magazine. (Seriously, who doesn't?) It's so natural, simple and beautiful. And if you adore it as much as me read this article.

New Project

Chciałabym wprowadzić tego bloga na kolejny poziom i skupić się mocno na modzie. Dlatego będę pisać więcej o prognozowaniu trendów. O makrotrendach, czynnikach wpływających obecnie na modę etc. + będzie dużo zdjęć....będę też tworzyć moodboardy (jak ten powyżej) Mam nadzieję, że Wam się spodoba.

I'd like to put this blog on next level and focus more on fashion. That's why I'm gonna write about trends forecasting. About macrotrends and factors which have influence on fashion and so on...+ there will be lots of photos... I will also do moodboards like the above one.  Hope you'll like it.

Mandalas

Today I'd like to share with you something special for me, something that I've been working on many hours and I still work. I've always liked to draw and when I was a little girl I did it everyday. Now I regret that I don't have enough time to do that so often. My passion is to design clothes and after a dozen of years I have pretty big collection of sketches. But lately I decided to try something new. I've always been inspired by different cultures and travels and if you take a look into my notebooks you will see that I love to draw ornaments. So I thought: " I'm gonna transform it and make it completely different and new. I will express myself but it still will be based on ethnical inspirations." This is how I started creating mandalas. I belive that they are reflections of my feelings because of the colours and shapes I've chosen at that particular time. That gives original and personal work of art. I'd like to make another step forward and start designing t-shirts. Hope that 2014 will be productive :)

Laces, Oh lovely laces!

I'm obsessed with laces right now. Am I the only one? I love how feminine and sexy they are but in the same time they're make every woman feels strong and independent.  What?...Oh yeah...It's a kind of magic!
I sometimes find it hard to wear laces because I don't know where's the line between looking trendy and looking like I dressed up only with a slip. So I gave up on that. I've bought lace dress and skirt, which are perfect (not airy but still laces) to wear everyday (I mean EVERYDAY) (Yeah. Crazy.) I like contrast and mixing fabrics so I love to wear lace skirt with my second latest love - denim shirt. (Basically, I wear this shirt with everything and I'm wondering how could I live without it my whole life! )
Are you as much obsessed with laces as me? (Please say yes, so I'm not gonna feel as such a freak :))
I'm curious how do you wear it? Any tips from you?

W tym sezonie zakochałam się w koronkach. Uwielbiam to, że są bardzo kobiece, a jednocześnie sprawiają, że każda kobieta czuje się silna, niezależna i jest sobą.  Aż chce się zanucić ''It's a kind of magic! It's a kind of magic!"  Nie powiem, często nie wiem jak nosić koronki ponieważ jest cienka granica, której niechciałabym przekroczyć. Czyli wyglądaniem jakby miało się na sobie samą halkę. Dlatego przekonałam sama siebie, że look a la modelka z pokazu Louis Vuitton jesień/zima 2013 to nie jest dobry pomysł. (mimo iż go uwielbiam. Ach! ) Kupiłam sobie koronkową spódnicę i sukienkę, które są idealne (nie za lekkie i przewiewne, ale ciągle koronki) do noszenia codziennie (Serio, CODZIENNIE) (Szaleństwo.) Lubie kontrasty i zestawianie ze sobą różnych faktur dlatego wspomnianą wcześniej spódnicę noszę z moją drugą największą miłością - Dżinsową koszulą. ( Zastanawiam się jak mogłam bez niej wcześniej żyć! )
Też macie taką obsesję na punkcie koronek jak ja? (Proszę powiedzcie, że tak. ;))
Jakie macie sposoby by je nosić? Jakieś wskazówki dla mnie?

 The texture of this sweater is stunning! Looks like the snakeskin. I love offbeat details which make the whole outfit incredibly awesome and unique.  There is no need to be over-dressed to be well-dressed. Simple and chic ideas are the best and the details are the most important. They create a whole outfit and enrich it with a piece of our personality. Od teraz możemy dowiedzieć się wiecej o najnowszej kolaboracji H&M. Marka na swoim koncie na facebooku opublikowała link to strony na której znajdziemy zdjęcia całej kolekcji, inspiracji, a także adresy sklepów w których kolekcja Isabel Marant będzie dostępna. Ale co ciekawsze, modelki które wystąpiły w kampanii wypowiadają się na temat swojego stylu i współpracy skandynawskiej marki z francuską projektantką. Możemy posłuchać co Małgosia Bela, Saskia de Brauw, Milla Jovovich, Daria Werbowy czy Lou Doillon mają na ten temat do powiedzenia.

Now we can find out more about the latest H&M collaboration. The brand has pubilshed a link to a site where we can find photos of the collection, inspirations, and the addresses where the clothes will be available. What's more interesting is the fact that the models who took part in the campaign are talking about their personal style and about the collaboration between scandinavian brand and French designer. So we have the opportunity to listen what  Małgosia Bela, Saskia de Brauw, Milla Jovovich, Daria Werbowy and Lou Doillon are about to say.

W dzisiejszym świecie nie ma okreśonej osoby, która byłaby powszechnie nazywana "ikony stylu". Pomyślcie o kimś takim....I co?....Kto to jest?...Napewno każdy z Was pomyślał o innej osobie ponieważ każdy definiuje swój styl inaczej. Naszą ''ikoną stylu" może być więc każdy kto nas inspiruje. Jedna z tych osób jest dla mnie redaktor naczelna francuskiego Vogue- Emmanuelle Alt.  Od jakiegoś czasu fascynuje mnie paryski szyk. Sposób w jaki Paryżanki bawią się modą, kontrastując elegancję z nonszalancją jest niesamowity. I uwieżcie mi, to wcale nie jest takie łatwe jak to się może wydawać. Dlatego właśnie uwielbiam Emmanuelle Alt! Nosi proste, stonowane w kolorach ubrania, które są uniwersalne i wygodne ale jednocześnie z nutką luzu. To dowód na to, że klasyka i naturalność są niezastąpione!


Think about a person that is a ''style icon'' for you....And?....who is it?  I bet that everyone thought about different person. Nowadays, it's no specified who is a one and only ''style icon"  because everyone has a different style. Our ''style icon" can be everyone who inspires us. I'd like to show one of the persons that inspires me. It's Emmanuelle Alt- the editor of french Vogue. For some time, I'm fascinated to Parisian chic. The way how Parisians contrast elegance with nonchalance is amazing. Belive me or not but it's not so easy. That's why I adore Emmanuelle Alt! She wears classy clothes which are comfortable and all-purpose and she mix them with carelessness.

Krystof Strozyna SS 14 backstage

Praca przy pokazie Krystofa Strozyny w Londynie była niesamowitym doświadczeniem. Miałam możliwość zobaczyć jak przygotowywanie pokazu wygląda od kulis. Najpierw odbyły się ostateczne przymiarki. W międzyczasie modelki miały robiony make-up i fryzury. Peruki do pokazu, w trzech kolorach zaprojektowała Jaga Hupało. Zdecydowanie moją ulubioną częścią całego dnia były ostatnie minuty przed pokazem i sam pokaz. Towarzyszyły mu ogromne emocje i stres ponieważ wszystko musiało być dopięte na ostatni guzik. Modelki musiały w mgnieniu oka zmienić strój, potem to pracy wkraczali makijażyści i fryzjerzy który błyskawicznie poprawiali make-up i fryzury. Przed ponownym wyjściem na wybieg Krzysztof staranne dopracowywał każdą stylizację. Wszystko wyszło doskonale i na szczęście udało mi się nie zniszczyć peruki albo paznokci modelce ;) Bardzo spodobała mi się praca za kulisami pokazu mody,a oglądanie Krzysztofa przy pracy było bardzo cennym doświadczeniem. 

My trip to London last month wasn't pointless. I was helping during the preparations to Krystof Strozyna fashion show. I was an exciting experience. I had an opportunity to see how it all looks like from the backstage. Fittings were the first step. In the meantime models were having their make-up and hair done. Wigs in three colours were done by Jaga Hupało. Last few minutes before the show were the most stressful and thrilling but I liked this part the most.  Models had to dress up in a new outfit very quickly, then hairdressers and make-up artists were doing their job. Krystof was checking if everything is perfect. I was a crazy day and I really enjoyed working on a backstage.

Moim zdaniem kolekcja Krzysztofa jest świetna. Bardzo podobają mi się geometryczne usta wkomponowane w ubrania.  W kolekcji pojawiły się mocne kolory- żółty i szmaragdowy. Ale biel w połączeniu z granatem lub szarym dają równie doskonałe połączenie. Krzysztof jest bardzo utalentowanym projektantem i mocno trzymam za niego kciuki!

Moje trzy ulubione kreacje z letniej kolekcji to: szmaragdowa sukienka, biało-granatowy komplet i kolejna szmaragdowa sukienka  (Chyba wpadłam w szmaragdowy szał (?) ) Ta sukienka wygląda niesamowicie w ruchu, kiedy materiał z tyłu sukienki delikatnie powiewa. 

In my opinion Krystof Strozyna's collection is amazing. I really like geometric lips which are integrated into the outfits and are the main theme. Bold colours like yellow or emerald will be perfect for summer as well as mix of white with navy or grey. Krystof Strozyna is very talented your designer and I keep my fingers crossed for him! 

My favourite outfits from the collection were: emerald dress, white-navy shirt and skirt and antother emerald dress (Did I fall into emerald? I think so.) This dress looks stunning when it's in move. The material makes a gentle motion.

I stumbled across this photo today on Zara's page.  I adore the simplicity of blue jeans and beige jumper - it touches your skin, it's so gentle and soft, really cool and inspiring...

Natknęłam się na to zdjęcie na stronie Zary. Uwielbiam prostotę jeansów i beżowego swetra, który delikatnie i miękko dotyka skóry. Bardzo fajne i inspirujące...

Free People

Chciałabym Wam dzisiaj pokazać dwie kampanie reklamowe, które uwielbiam i które są obecnie moimi ulubionymi. A dokładniej mówiąc jest to seria krótkich filmików pt.: "Free People Roshambo" które opowiadają pewną historię miłości. Firma Free People słynie z ubrań i dodatków w stylu boho/hippie z etnicznymi motywami. Bardzo mi się podoba taki styl, a dla równowagi lubię go łączyć z miejskim szykiem. I tutaj od razu na myśl przychodzi mi jedna z moich ulubionych projektantek: Isabel Marant i jej genialne kolekcje, które są połączeniem stylu boho z paryską elegancją. Ale wracając do filmików... Ten pierwszy pokazuje upalne lato w Rio de Janeiro, za to pozostałe dwa przenoszą nas do jesiennego Paryża. Obie kampanie zachwycają swoim urokiem! Zobaczcie koniecznie! <3

I'd like to tell you about two ads that I'm crazy about lately. Free People is a clothing company which combines boho and hippie style in their designs.
